Janet Benjamin, LMFT
Janet Benjamin is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist specializing in neurobiology, attachment trauma, and early childhood trauma. Janet grew up in the Treasure Valley and moved to California to begin her education. She graduated from California State University San Marcos, CA with a Bachelors Degree in biopsychology. She also holds a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University as well as a Doctorate in Psychology also in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her work with children and teens helping them understand anxiety, attention deficit disorder, stress management, and emotional regulation continues to be her passion. She also enjoys supporting adults with a client centered approach in dealing with childhood trauma and family relational issues. She is currently working on her Post-Doctoral Residency at NNH.
Recently moving back to Idaho to be closer to her family and childhood friends has been a true blessing. Bringing her children and grandchildren to Idaho allows her to spend a lot of time rediscovering all that the beautiful Treasure Valley has to offer while spending as much time with family as possible.
