Lisa Paternoster, LCPC
Lisa Paternoster, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Boise State University and completed her Master of Counseling Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling at Idaho State University. During that time, Lisa interned at the East Boise Community Reentry Center, which provide incarcerated females treatment and services in order to have a positive and successful return to the community. She also interned, and later joined the staff, at Community Partnerships of Idaho working with individuals and families dealing with developmental disabilities and chronic mental illness. Lisa began seeing clients at Genesis Counseling and Psychological Center in 2009 and joined Northwest Neurobehavioral Health in 2016.
Lisa works with families, couples, children, adolescents and teens experiencing issues related to trauma, depression, grief and loss, anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD, communication and parenting skills. Lisa specializes in the treatment of Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors, which include hair pulling, chronic skin picking and nail biting. Lisa is also passionate about improving the quality of life of those suffering from Chronic Pain.
Lisa was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three children.
