Sekayi Malek, OTR/L, MOT
Sekayi Malek is a fully licensed Occupational Therapist. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boise State University in 2017 while working as the head phlebotomist and medical assistant at an outpatient mental health clinic. After graduation, she moved to Philadelphia to pursue her Master’s degree from Temple University’s School of Occupational Therapy. Sekayi has gained experience working in a variety of settings including, acute care and inpatient rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Homeless Health Initiative, and outpatient pediatrics. She also had the opportunity to practice school-based occupational therapy for a year in the Philadelphia public school system. Sekayi enjoys volunteering, cooking, creating art, gardening, collecting plants, raising her backyard chickens and playing with her two dogs Britney and Kiki.
