New Occupational Therapists join NNH!
Northwest Neurobehavioral Health, LLC is proud to announce that Jamie Bennett and Deana Miller, MOT, OTR/L are joining our Occupational Therapy team! Deana and Jamie will be available to treat new clients beginning June, 2014.
Occupational Therapy is an integral part of the multidisciplinary outpatient program at NNH designed to help and support complex children and their families with sensory- motor, self-help, fine and gross motor concerns and problems with self-regulation of their states of arousal. We have new larger state of the art treatment areas and we also have the Interactive Metronome available to help children with attention problems. We work with children of all ages as well as developmentally challenged adults.
Our clinicians are trained and credentialed in Sensory Integration, DIR-Floortime relationship based interventions, Neurodevelopmental Therapy, Interactive Metronome, and Cranial Sacral Therapy. We work closely with the families of the children to help generalize the skills over the course of the therapy. We work closely and interactively with other professionals treating children including speech and language services, counseling, psychological assessment services, and medical services.
The strength of NNH is the interdisciplinary support for children and their families with a wide range of functional concerns are best helped within the combined expertise and experience of our staff. We are centrally located on Eagle Road just south of the freeway with easy access to parking. We look forward to serving all of our clients in a collaborative and respectful manner.
